Jay Da Funk played his first ever DJ set at the age of 16 and since then has gone from strength to strength.

Jay started as a bedroom DJ playing old skool garage, keeping up to date with all the latest tunes by scouting local record shops on a daily basis. Garage began to fade out as Jay was finding his feet in the industry, this was because a new genre was emerging known as grime.

With this new music Jay was keen to experiment with mixes and tricks to set him apart from other DJs, this eventually got him into the clubs working for event promoters.

Soon after that Jay ventured out playing different music genres in his set from R&B to funky house and whatever got the crowd moving at the time. This new versatile style Jay picked up enabled him to work for various promoters and events around the country.

Jay currently holds 4 weekly residencies and is working on various mixtapes to be released in the future.
